The service was great. The menu choices were plentiful. My wife really enjoyed her fish sandwich. I had Italian sausage pizza sandwiche and it was good. Very basic decor. Would return

Kelsey (waitress) was awesome and the price was great and definitely affordable for the amount of food you get. We ordered an egg and mushroom omelette, hash browns, toast and a bagel with cream cheese. It was all filling and good. The toast has a great deal of melted butter on it but I'm from the south so it works for me. Just be aware in case you are watching your intake of butter. The omelet was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted. I don't like it when I order a cheese omelet and the cheese isn't fully melted. It was warm and tasted just fine. I had to add a tiny bit of salt but I usually do that everywhere. The employees seem like they get along and they're happy which says a lot for the business itself. The service was SUPER fast.
The bacon was greasy this time but they will get a pass from me! I have been coming here for over 40 years and this is a first for the bacon quality and quantity was less. Service is always friendly but the bacon stuck with me! That's the reason I come back when I'm in town, is the Breakfast!!
Tony's is a 30-some-year-old diner with all the classic accessories, such as the low counter, big booties, huge portions, a pie cooler, and polite-but-sassy waitresses. Great food. Great service. If you can plan ahead, bring food containers because you are going to have leftovers!
Classic diner with anything but ordinary fare. These staple steak sandwiches are unlike any you've had elsewhere. Thick slices of meat covered in a homemade red sauce on thick but delicate slices of house made Italian bread. Excellent Italian salad dressing.
I was told that I couldn't experience Saginaw without trying Tony's famous steak sandwich. It happened to be the lunch special when I stopped in on a weekday afternoon. I think i probably could have stretched one of these steak sandwiches for 3 meals, if I hadn't been so hungry and it wasn't so delicious. The sandwich is huge! The grilled bread is well worth the extra $0.50, it was crispy and delicious. Restaurant was clean, service was very friendly and helpful, and our meals were out very quickly.
